There are a number of ways in which owners may customize their TRIKES and WINGS:

Color Choice :

- Today, all our standard wings are provided with white on the upper surface, a red leading edge (L.E.), a red front lower surface (I), a white rear lower surface (II) and a red keel pocket. On option, you may choose different colors for each part of the wing, except for the upper surface which is only manufactured in white.
- The standard color for trikes is red. The fairings and certain parts of the upholstery (seats, saddle bags, and headrest) are pewter gray and red. An optional "color choice" is offered for the TWIN and the GTE lines. The red items on the fairings and upholstery may be yellow, blue, or green. The trike body is covered with silver metallic epoxy paint.

Customised Lower Surface:
(MILD and XP)

This option is now possible thanks to AIR CREATION's computerised cutting equipment. This allows clients to create their own motifs on the lower wing surface. The shape, size and colors of the panels may be chosen within certain limits of symmetry and cut. Your dealer will advise you.

Pack Vmax :
(KISS and XP)

This option is only available for the KISS and XP wings and includes a trim system which operates on pitch. It also includes aerodynamic fairings on the upright and kingpost that reduce drag at high speeds. The trim system is simple and light-weight. It operates by altering the tension on the luff lines on the wing and allows "hands-off" cruising at high speed.

Integral Fairing :

This can be mounted on the dual-seater trikes without any modification to the Trike. Made of composite material combined with the finned wheel fairings, this option improves the aircraft's performance and in-flight control. The large instrument panel has room for a wide choice of instruments and accessories.

Three-point safety belt :

This device holds both the pilot and passenger in the safest position should their aircraft suffer violent frontal impact. Under normal operation all control movements are unimpeded. The spring-loaded reel allows easy fastening and automatic adjustment and was tested with a forward load factor of 9g.

Sidebags:

Two large lateral bags are easily accessible and fastened to the seat framework and are fitted as standard on the RACER 503 S version.

Instrument console:

This has room for seven flight instruments with their accessories. It can be folded back whilst rigging and elegantly matches the trike frame. It is fitted as standard on the TWIN 582 SL model with water temperature gauge.

Noise reducer (exhaust intake) :

These are recommended for the Rotax 447 and 503 engines and are fitted as standard on the 503 SL, 503 S and 582SL. The reduction in noise level is appreciable; yet there is little effect on engine performance.

38 litre fuel tank :

This is the "long range" tank that reduces the number of refuelling stops. It is an option for the RACER 447 and 503 and fitted as standard on all SL and S models.

Towing system :

Available on the S and SL models and fitted with hollow shaft C-type reduction drive, the system allows, streamers, advertising banners and hang gliders to be towed in safety.

Dual Control (steering and throttle) :

Allows full control of the aircraft from the rear seat. The steering and foot throttle can be overridden at any time by the instructor, leaving both hands free for controlling the airframe.

Safety Parachute :

AIR CREATION is the only manufacture to have carried out in-flight tests of the BRS pyrotechnical parachute system. The activating handle is coupled to an ignition interrupter which automatically cuts out the engine and the propeller to ensure that the parachute is successfully launched and the aircraft descends in a horizontal position.

Floats :

These are made from low-density foam contained in a fibreglass epoxy envelope and are unsinkable. After thousands of hours of float-operation, AIR CREATION have perfected the Full Floats assembly. Excellent performance on water and in the air have been demonstrated. Recommended models for their system are the FUN 18, TWIN 503 SL and the MILD 16 - GTE 582 S depending on the projected use.
